The widow of a man murdered by drunken thugs has called for the death penalty to be brought back - as detectives investigate two more brutal street attacks.
Helen Newlove, centreHelen Newlove, 45, spoke out after three teenagers were given life sentences for killing her husband Garry.
"In my opinion they should pay the ultimate price," she told The Sun.
"We need to think about the death penalty because it's the only way these kids are going to wake up to the pain they are causing.
"Make no mistake, if the liberals running our justice system ever let these three out, they will kill again. They are ticking time bombs.
